Critical Care & Intensive Support
Since 2006, the practice has offered a specialist critical care service. We have 24-hour onsite veterinary surgeons with specialist back-up. We are able to look after the sickest patients, including horses with colic, colitis, pneumonia and pleuropneumonia, neurological problems and bone or muscle injuries.
We offer Level III intensive care for foals. This includes, when necessary, oxygen, electronic volumetric pumps to accurately deliver fluids and drugs, blood pressure measurement and 24-hour a day nursing.
